The Polisocial ACCEPT project is about to enter a new phase: the adapted, sensorized, reconfigurable and interactive climbing wall created by a team of researchers coordinated by Prof. Alessandro Colombo (Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria) has just been installed in the PlayMore! sports center, where – in collaboration with the FightTheStroke foundation and with CAI Milano’s FALC school – it will be made available to 20 children with cerebral palsy. During the event, a first batch of measurements will be collected for validation and evaluation of the wall functionality.

The initiative is part of the fourth edition of the Fight Camp, an intensive rehabilitation camp through sport organized by FightTheStroke to be held in Milan in via della Moscova 26/a at the PlayMore! center from 16th to 22nd August 2021. During the event, the 20 participating children will be followed in an individualized path by tutors and supervisors specialized in physiotherapy, neuro-psychomotor therapy of the developmental age, occupational therapy, adapted motor sciences, psychology.
