Abstract
On February 24th, 2026 staring from 9:00 am the Explainable AI and Neuroscience Workshop, an interdisciplinary event dedicated to exploring the interplay between neuroscience and explainable, trustworthy artificial intelligence, will take place at Spazio Vetrato (Building 13 - Trifoglio) Politecnico di Milano.The workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss foundational methods, applied use cases, and emerging directions at the intersection of neuroscience, neuromorphic engineering, and explainable AI, with a particular focus on healthcare applications.

• Explainable and trustworthy AI in healthcare
• From neuroscience to XAI — and back
The program features contributions from leading academics and experts from institutions including Politecnico di Milano, Bocconi University, Heidelberg University, Open Brain Institute, Valencia University (more information in attachment).
