Castello Sforzesco di Milano
Through talks, exhibitions, masterclasses, workshops, laboratories, gaming spaces and meetings, we will reflect on what is ESSENTIAL today. It will be an opportunity to understand how, through the lens of technology and innovation, it is possible to develop the critical capacity needed to better understand the complexity of today's world. Politecnico di Milano, thanks to the involvement of its professors on stage and an exhibit area dedicated to showcasing the university's most cutting-edge research projects, will contribute to a better understanding of the impact of new technologies - such as artificial intelligence - on society.
Speakers will include faculty members from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering. In addition to Rector Donatella Sciuto, one of the the most significant voices in the field of innovation and digital technologies, speakers will include Fabio Antonacci, who will investigate the relationship between artificial intelligence and music; Sergio Savaresi, who will recount the experience of the self-driving car that participated in the Mille Miglia; and Emiliano Votta, who will explain how robotics, artificial intelligence and augmented reality can make cardiac therapies simpler, safer and more accessible.
The Politecnico di Milano stand will also feature an exhibit area where some of the research projects carried out in the University's laboratories will be shown to the public and an area dedicated to in-depth talks on the technologies on display. In particular, one of the talks will be dedicated to the 1000 MAD project, coordinated by the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering.
