SPINLabs

Activities

The SPIN laboratories are devoted to the development of innovative signal processing techniques for the understanding and analysis of the cerebral, cardiovascular and neurosensory systems. Studies are particularly aimed at advancing knowledge in the fields of physiology and neuroscience. The SPINlabs are equipped with advanced noninvasive and wireless monitoring systems, aimed at characterizing important physiological mechanisms associated with cardiovascular control, autonomic nervous system functioning, as well as respiratory physiology. The research applications pursued within the labs are aimed at providing effective translational clinical outcomes for a prompt diagnosis and prediction of specific pathological conditions.

Service information

The SPINlabS laboratory is located in Building 21, in the third floor (via Golgi n. 39).
