Activities
The laboratory is equipped with high-level instrumentation for the measurement of electrical quantities and the calibration of measurement instruments. It is located in an air-conditioned room: the temperature is maintained at 23 ± 1 ° C and the relative humidity is set at 50 ± 5%. The laboratory works according to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and it is accredited by the Calibration Center of Athenaeum for the calibration of the instruments for the measurement of electrical quantities and thermo-hygrometers in fixed points.
The typical activities carried out by the laboratory are:
- Metrological verification of digital and analog multimeters;
- Metrological verification of standard generators (calibrators, standard resistors);
- Thermo-hygrographs and thermo-hygrometers calibration;
- Measurements of electrical materials properties;
- Power and Energy measurements.

The activity takes place in the laboratory located in Building 7, ground floor (Piazza Leonardo da Vinci, 32).
