Activities
Hygieia, the Greek and Roman (Latin: Hygēa) goddess of health and hygiene, associated with the prevention of sickness and the continuation of good health, recalls our Lab’s goals: to develop digital solutions for disease prevention and health promotion, both at individual and societal level (public health). Our team develops innovative applications aiming at integrating the latest research and technology innovations to help individuals to take control of their well-being and to build healthier and resilient communities. Several research lines are currently active, including Health geomatics, Patient empowerment, personalization and medical adherence, Prevention in human spaceflight, Digital tools for regulatory science, and Virtual reality applications for health.
