2023 - ROCCO ROBERTO
Roberto Rocco, Ph.D. student in Information Technology at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano, was awarded the Best Poster Award at the 20th ACM International Conference on Computing Frontiers, that took place on May 9-11, 2023 in Bologna, Italy. The poster, titled The Legio Fault Resilience Framework for MPI Applications: Design and Rationale and written in collaboration with his advisor Prof. Gianluca Palermo, illustrated the research activity carried out in the field of fault management for MPI applications, with a particular focus on energy efficiency, low intrusiveness, and supporting the latest functionalities of the MPI standard.
